Accessibility and parking

Easy to get to

Here at the very narrowest point of Limburg, you will pass through our beautiful city when heading north to south or vice versa. The city is easy to cross on foot or by bike. Sittard-Geleen is easy to navigate by car and public transportation.
The train stations have good connections with Heerlen, Maastricht, and Eindhoven. The several shopping centres are all less than five minutes' walk from the train and bus stations. For all the latest travel information, check Arriva or www.ns.nl.

Arriving by car?

Sittard-Geleen has several parking garages and parking lots for visitors to the city. The parking garages are clean and well lit, and have amply sized spaces in which you can park any car safely and comfortably. In Sittard-Geleen, you must pay for parking on weekdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, and on shopping Sundays from 12-6 PM. During extended shopping hours on Thursday evenings, you must pay for parking until 10 PM.

In the garages with ticket parking, parking is paid as you leave, and parking fees apply 24 hours per day, seven days per week. In these garages, you can pay with cash (bills and coins) or credit card. For on-street parking and at most lots, pay for parking in advance with cash. More information about parking can be found here.
