Playing outside is very important, not only for a child's development into a balanced and healthy adult, but also for the liveability of neighbourhoods and communities. Often, children playing outside is the start of social contact in the community. Sittard-Geleen knows this, which is why the city maintains a broad range of play facilities distributed across the entire city.
