Theater Karroessel is a small, cosy theatre that seats 69, with programmes for all ages: music from classical to rock, cabaret, adult and youth theatre, poetry, and more. For the most part, the performers are from the region, but are just as likely to be seen on stages elsewhere in the country. The Muziekkarroessel and youth theatre programmes have become something of a tradition, but these are just two highlights of the approximately 50 performances per theatre season.
The theatre group Het Laagland encourages children to discover who they are, what they can do and what they want to achieve.
