Accessibility and parking

At just below the very narrowest point of Limburg, Sittard-Geleen is easy to get to, and you cannot but pass through our beautiful city when heading north to south or vice versa. Sittard-Geleen is also very easy to get to on public transportation. Once you're here, in both city centres your best way to get from point A to point B is by bicycle or on foot. To visit the villages in the area, cycling is the way to go.

Sittard-Geleen has several covered and open car parks for visitors to the city. The covered car parks are clean and well lit, and have amply sized spaces in which you can park any car safely and comfortably. In Sittard-Geleen, parking is paid weekdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, and on shopping Sundays from 12-6 PM. During extended shopping hours on Thursday evenings, parking is paid until 10 PM. In the covered car parks with ticket parking, parking is paid as you leave, and parking fees apply 24 hours per day, seven days per week. In these garages, you can pay with cash (bills and coins) or credit card. For on-street parking and at most car parks, pay for parking in advance with cash.
